When I began my weight loss, I said to myself, I want this time to be different. I want it to work. And I want it to last. It must be different.
And I knew if I wanted it to be different, I must do something different.
So I decided to keep it private.
I decided not to tell anyone what I was doing. I decided to not talk about it. I wasn't going to talk about my fat, my body, the scale, or food. I was literally going to keep my mouth shut, about everything.
That was different.
In this day and age of social media, "full disclosure", and over-sharing we have been conditioned to share too many things with too many people.
